Lodsworth Larder is a community run, eco friendly, village shop, situated in the heart of the Southdowns National Park. This weekend sees a continuation of the chilly autumnal weather, definitely the time of year to light the fire, or wood-burning stove. We always have a supply of locally sourced, seasoned logs and kindling, as well as packets of firelighters; in fact, everything to keep you warm and toasty. Our magical Christmas Elves, have once again worked their magic, and the shop has been transformed into a winter wonderland, of fabulous Christmas treats, and gifts. We have something for everyone, including delicious artisan chutneys, locally made jams and honey, and not forgetting our extremely popular Lodsworth Calendar. We have bespoke hampers filled with local Sussex produce, which make an ideal gift if you are travelling to visit friends or family this year, so do come in and see us, you are sure to find something unique and exciting.
Lodsworth Larder sells a wide variety of fresh produce and groceries. We have daily deliveries of fruit, seasonal vegetables and bakery produce. We sell meat and poultry from The Hungry Guest butchers in Petworth, and have a large selection of delicatessen produce, and local artisan cheeses. The Larder offers a postal service, including domestic and airmail post, as well as signed for delivery. We also carry all of Ben Law’s publications and a selection of other books and gifts.
For your everyday shopping, we can provide all your basic groceries, including household items, pet food and a selection of over the counter medicine. So whether you need a special gift or treat, or have run out of cat food on a Bank Holiday, Lodsworth Larder is here to help.
